HOW IT WORKS
From sign-up to getting paid
Every locum shift at ASP Medical follows the same eight steps. Here is what you do, what ASP HR and the branch do, and what you will see at each stage.

The eight steps
-
You
Step 1: Register an account
Create your locum account with your name, email, phone number and IC number, and choose whether you are a doctor or a nurse.
-
You
Step 2: Complete your professional profile
Add your APC number and upload your APC certificate, then submit your profile for HR verification. Add your bank details before your first booking so you can be paid.
-
ASP HR
Step 3: HR verifies your credentials
ASP HR checks your details and documents. They verify your account, or ask you to correct something with a note explaining what to fix. You are notified either way.
-
You
Step 4: Browse available shifts
Your doctor or nurse manager assigns the branches you work at. You then see the open shifts at those branches by date, time and area, and you are notified when a branch is added.
-

Step 5: Apply for a shift
Pick a shift and apply in one step. Shifts that overlap one you already have, or leave too little rest between them, are blocked automatically.
-
Branch PIC
Step 6: The branch confirms your booking
Before the shift, the branch PIC confirms or declines your booking. You are notified straight away, and confirmed shifts appear in your calendar.

Step 7: Work the shift and verify attendance
After the shift, the branch PIC records your attendance. HR then checks the hours and rate, and your manager approves the shift for payment.

Step 8: HR processes your payment
HR pays the verified amount. Follow every booking from Confirmed to Approved for payment to Paid in My applications, with the payment reference once it is paid.
